What is DegenDAO or The Haberdashery?

DegenDAO is a sufficiently decentralized DAO focused on growing the Degen and Farcaster ecosystem.

It’s purpose is to grow capital and social value for its holders by investing in and supporting the Farcaster and Base ecosystem!

How is DegenDAO structured?

The governance model employs a 1:1 vote ratio between the DegenDAO party NFT and the Degen Haberdashers.

Veto: Defacto veto on the Mutlisig in case of a takeover or a proposal not truly in the interest of the Dao.

The DAO is actively experimenting with different ways to ensure a balanced governance approach. The Dao is also seeking legal counsel to set up a minimum viable legal structure to smoothen operations and mitigate risks.

What’s the voting process ?

  1. Ideas get posted in the DegenDAO channel.
  2. After getting a sense check from the community, put together a proposal as a cast on the Haberdashery- proposal channel for people to have an open dialogue.
  3. Purp puts a voting frame live on Haberdashery-Vote channel for members to vote using a frame. Holders get notified to vote on the Vocondi frame.
  4. Proposal requests are then manually executed by the treasury.
